St. Brigid’s Summer Camp believes that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp regardless of their family’s financial situation. As a registered charity, we do not charge any fees to attend camp. Instead, we rely on the financial support of those in the community who believe in the quality experience that St. Brigid’s Summer Camp has been providing to children and youth from all walks of life since 1972.
In 2019, we spent over $430,000 to provide camp holidays to nearly 1000 children from Ottawa and the surrounding area. In preparation for another camp season, we need to raise more than $400 for each camper who attends and $700 for each L.I.T. participant.
As you can imagine, this is no small feat. Historically, more than 75% of our funding has come from individual donations. Without your support, we cannot do it. If you believe in St. Brigid’s Summer Camp as we do, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductible contribution to help us continue.
