Work Dates:
(All) Staff Training: June 24th – June 25th, 2017 (Saturday & Sunday)
(Boys) July 3 – July 28, 2017 (Monday to Friday)
(Girls) July 31 – August 25, 2017 (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
As an STB Kitchen staff you will assist in the preparation and delivery of all meals at camp. Kitchen staff is responsible for providing an exceptional camp experience for all campers while ensuring a safe and fun environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to,

  • Under the direction of the Head Cook, assist in the preparation of camp meals
  • Setup the dining hall for each meal
  • Cleaning various camp locations (dining hall, kitchen, bathrooms…)
  • Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
  • Carry out any other task/responsibility as designated by the Head Cook
  • Carry out any other task/responsibility as designated by the Camp Director and/or Assistant Camp Director

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Able and willing to work with food under strict food safety guidelines
  • Mature individual who can work closely with others
  • Excellent role model, modeling honesty, integrity and respect
  • Possess enthusiasm, energy, patience and a sense of humour
  • Enjoys working with all children
  • Team player, ability to work well with a variety of personalities and to give and receive feedback

Assets (not required):

  • Experience working in the food industry
  • Experience working with children
  • Active member of school community
